Sesame Lane North Lakes - Discovery Drive is situated in a residential area next to Woodside Community Centre and the Axis church on the corner of Gardenia Parade. Our busy Service is surrounded by large bushy trees, and we back onto the Woodside Playing fields, where we often hold events such as our annual Family Christmas Carols.

Here at North Lakes - Discovery Drive, we have a strong focus on community. From parent meetings to social events and celebrating special occasions with our children we believe that making strong connections is what ensures our children feel a sense of belonging and identity.

The children's well-being is foremost in all we do. From joining the Sesame Lane family, through every learning experience, to the day children move on to Prep, they never leave our care.

We welcome you visit our Service at any time. We have an open door policy for our families, and we would love for you to share your occupation or hobby with the children or just join in with our fun and exciting activities.

Qualifications: Diploma in Children’s Services

My philosophy is that children always learn much more under the guidance of a passionate Educator. We help mould children into who they will be later in life through the exploration different areas such as imagination, role-playing and problem-solving.

Learning through play underpins my teaching style. I believe this approach is a win-win – allowing our happy healthy learners to internalise valuable life skills at the me as they build strong relationships with their peers. It’s always an amazing feeling knowing you’ve been a big part of a child’s early learning life.”

What I love most about my work are the bonds we form. Children I Educated 10 years ago still run up to me on the street. It’s something I’ll always cherish.
