Sesame Lane Redcliffe was our pioneer child care Service, located in the heart of Redcliffe. We opened in 1988 and on the first day of care we welcomed 8 children and 3 Educators! We now cater for 90 Happy Healthy Learners each day.

In May of 1991 the Service was expanded to include a specialised crèche in a separate building and our families enjoy that our Service has dedicated age appropriate inside and outside spaces for both younger and older children.

Our outdoor playgrounds were refurbished in 2017 to extend on children's enjoyment and learning experiences and to provide a more natural setting for children to explore. Our indoor environments are designed to support both group and individual learning experiences with furnishings and equipment chosen carefully to create a home-like feeling of welcome.

We pride ourselves on basing our leaning experiences and activities on our children's current interests and in partnership with families and our community.

Tracy Deane
Service Manager / Nominated Supervisor
Qualifications: Advanced diploma in community services, children’s services; Certificate IV in Frontline Management.

I am dedicated to providing a safe, enjoyable learning environment for all children, families and Educators in our Service. Having been in the child care industry for 20 years, I have considerable experience in overseeing every aspect of a Service while maintaining involvement in children’s activities and delivery of a program based on children’s interests and their need to learn and grow. One of my personal focuses is establishing and maintaining relationships with all children and families as well as ensuring open communication and family involvement.

I look forward to meeting new families and welcoming them to the Sesame Lane Redcliffe community, where children’s wellbeing is foremost in all we do.
